'The Final Dose'

This piece was inspired by all the Covid 19 Vaccination injections the Government wanted to administer to the general public, and how some people welcomed it with open arms, and other totally refused it, and all those that debated it in between.

This syringe is over 70 years old. I wanted it to look like it was full of vaccine? ready to be injected, but I dare not put a liquid into it incase it leaked.

So I glued 3 pieces of light green acrylic together, then shaped and sanded until it was perfectly clear and also the exact size to fit into the syringe: giving the impression of a fluid.

I made up the mounts for the syringe from vinage copper electrical items.
