'The Kiss'

'The Kiss' is a commission for a couple who wanted something unusual and personal to themselves.

I take commissions for personalised art works, which include taking Studio Photographs and working with those images to create a unique piece of art for you; either individually or as a couple.

This is an Oak Tree I was asked to draw for a young couple about to get married. They wanted guests attending their Wedding day celebrations, to touch an ink pad, and leave a finger print on the tree to represent leaves, and to remind them of the guests who had shared this special time with them.

Showing the two 'love cat' on the Oak branch, and the heart carved into the tree bark, with Laura and Andrews initials carved also.

I wanted to make the tree seem like it was part of a magical forest, so I made some of the tree roots come out of the ground, and then plunge back into the earth again, giving the tree and their marriage, a strong foundation, and a long and healthy life.
